Designer
Designer helps turn a research question into a structured study plan. It is included with E-PICOS All Access.
What it provides
- a guided decision tree for selecting an appropriate study design
- a searchable Study Design Library, organized by broad methodological families
- methodological profiles with characteristics, strengths, limitations, bias sources, and common control strategies
- protocol guidance and planning templates
- a structured document builder that exports a working draft
Start points
From the Designer home, choose one of three routes:
| Route | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Start Guided Design | You want to answer questions about the objective, population, intervention or exposure, timing, and data |
| Browse Study Designs | You know the family or design you want to inspect |
| Build from a Planning Template | You want to begin a structured document from a protocol guideline or planning framework |
Designer supports planning and methodological preparation. It does not replace formal statistical, regulatory, or ethics review.
