Cookie Preferences

The Cookies tab lets you control which categories of cookies e-picos uses on your account. You can choose Allow or Deny for each category, except for Essential cookies which are always required for the site to work.

The four cookie categories

Category Can be turned off? What it does
Essential No -- Always enabled Required for basic website functionality. The button shows "Always Enabled" and cannot be changed
Performance Yes Helps the platform improve website performance and user experience
Analytics Yes Helps the platform understand how visitors interact with the website
Authentication Yes Keeps you signed in and your session secure

Note: Turning off Authentication cookies will affect your ability to remain signed in across pages and across module subdomains. If you want a smooth signed-in experience, leave Authentication cookies allowed.

Saving your choices

After choosing Allow or Deny for each category, click Save Changes:

  • The button shows "Saving Changes..." briefly
  • On success, a confirmation banner appears: "Cookie preferences updated successfully!" -- it disappears automatically after 3 seconds
  • On failure, an error banner appears with the reason
  • If you click Save Changes without making any actual changes, the success banner still appears but no update is sent

Your cookie preferences are also remembered across sessions, so you only need to set them once.
